The modern data stack has received a great deal of attention over the past couple of years. We saw Snowflake go public at a massive valuation and saw other data warehousing solutions take off. And the resulting new source of truth of data spawned an abundance of products that made data teams far more productive in uncovering insights about their products and businesses.
But the benefits to go-to-market teams have been limited so far. Those go-to-market teams are customers of the data teams, but they're further downstream from the data pipelines than, say, product teams. There's an untapped opportunity to leverage data in order to make customer teams more productive and more revenue-generating.
